Marsha and Denise are a mother daughter team out of Boston. Says Denise,

"We met Gene and Bonnie Megowan at a school educational function out in Texas. We discovered we all four had a passion for teaching and helping cosmetology students start out prepared to succeed. We also found a mutual admiration for each other's products. I especially love their International Twisters. They make my hand feel very rested after a long day of cutting. It is important to have the color match the cut and the Twisters make slide cutting and texturizing techniques easy without putting my body into awkward positions."

Marsha Russell is the co-founder of PWAI, LLC, a company involved in the development, manufacturing and marketing of innovative products for the beauty industry. This company is the parent company of ZIPA, their most innovative product developed by Marsha Russell. Ms. Russell has had years of experience as a cosmetology professional both behind the chair and in education. She developed a new innovative foiling method that lends itself to creating color techniques not before possible. She has worked extensively with cosmetology schools and product distributors teaching color and cut techniques.

Denise Russell is the creative director for ZipA. Thinking outside the box, Denise has taken the tool developed by her mother and has created the techniques of use. Denise, a hair artist in her own right, has a clear understanding of communication to cosmetologists how to achieve color and cut combinations that puts her in demand as an educator. She has traveled extensively throughout the United States as an educator with the understanding that education in the cosmetology world must first grab the imagination along with the mind.
